“Evergreen” is a project that was started in the spring of 2009. Evergreen is a typical cul-de-sac development in suburban America where each house is structural the same but with detail variants. The idea is to be a photographic study in to the personalities of people and how they.”individualize” their homes. There are two complete homes in this gallery and the first one is the home I grew up in from second grade till they moved to Boca Raton several years ago. It was challenging but very fun to approach something that is beyond familiar to me and photograph it like it is new and fresh. The moment I looked thru the ground glass I knew there were photographs here to be made. I have left the scans un-cropped so you can “feel” the print.
